    A gifted evaluation is an assessment designed to identify a child's advanced intellectual abilities. It includes intelligence testing to measure cognitive potential.

    A gifted evaluation is typically done to see if child qualifies for the gifted program in a public school or a for placement at a school specifically for children of highly intelligence.

  • What is the process?

    A basic gifted evaluation is conducted in one session of individual testing of the child's IQ using a basic cognitive measure. It includes the testing, a feedback session to discuss results, and a written report.

    Duration: approximately 60 minutes of testing, plus feedback.

    Cost: $400

    A more comprehensive gifted evaluation can also be conducted, using a comprehensive cognitive measure that estimates multiple cognitive processing areas.
